no idle

i am working on my buddies revo 3.3. it will not idle, i have replaced the cooling head shim,the carb body,sealed the backing plate,changed the fuel lines,the glow plug,replaced the clutch shoes and spring and the bell bearings(they were wiped out),also installed a fuel tank rebuild kit. now fuel comes up to the carb better than before, it starts and runs at 1/4 throttle but as soon as you let off the throttle it stalls. restarts fine and feels like it has good compression...ran out of ideas...maybe someone has one i overlooked..:\ thanks

Got the throttle set at 1-2mm? Thinking its not getting enough air at idle

i have the slide open about 2mm, it will only stay running if i hold it open about 1/4 throttle...
