I have a Himoto MXB-3 nitro buggy I just got 2 weeks ago. I went through the break-in successfully. The rubber exhaust coupler tore so I replaced it with a new one. Since then I tried priming the engine by plugging the muffler with my finger and pulling the start chord to pull the fuel to the carb but it will not work anymore. I can't figure out why I can't get suction with the fuel. I filled the fuel line to the carb with fuel but it will not start. I am new to this sport so any help would be great. Thank you.

its actualy not suction used to prime the carb, there is a pressureline comming from the exaust to the tank. when you block the exause it makes all the air go through the pressure line and into the tank. this will push fuel into the carb. check if this line is in corectly. if it is and it still wont prime, remove the exaust end. eave te other end connected to the fuel tank. and blow int it to prime the carb.

Try pulling off the pressure line from your tuned pipe and blowing directly into it until fuel reaches the carb. Then attach your glow ignitor and use the pull start.

Make sure the line coming from the top of the tank(usually the filler lid is the one going to the exhaust pipe its easy to get those confused,I have actually bought cars that dont run and it was just that easy to fix problem.Good luck

make sure the new coupler is sealing tight, put a ty wrap on each side to get best seal. if you filled the line to the carb with fuel and it wouldnt start that sounds like a different problem, Did you change any carb settings, is the glow plug in tight and working. make sure the line on the exhaust goes to the top of fuel tank and the line from the carb goes to the bottom.

By the way saying "f*#k this $h*t" is part of the hobby. Keep trying and learning and you will be happy with it.

Thanks for everybody's help. I applied everything I read and it's running now. Thanks again.
