hey I'm new to touring cars and i was wondering what was a good nitro touring car that i could get for a reasonable amount of money and be able to easily find like hop up parts and regular parts for it and not have to search the web and drive all round the area to find stuff for it?

thanks

Kyosho V-one RRR world champion edition.
Comes hopped and ready to race.
Comes as a kit like many top quality cars, and needs to be built.
The car alone is around $450.
You'll need:
Servo's (i suggest digital) $110 each
Radio (I suggest the futaba 3PK with DSM) total around $500
Engine (I suggest a JP mod engine for)around $450
Pipe (I'd go with THS) $90 ish

You should be good to go.

i have the TC3 nitro as mentioned above and can say it is a very good car. its got everything adjustable that you could think and want, its nippy, parts are easy to access, and the hop ups are easily available too. i picked mine up in england UK for about 50 pounds (second hand) and got it all running with fuel plugs, etc for about 100 pounds, so about 180 dollars.

EDIT: its very fast, but mine came with an upgraded 2 speed gear system, so i couldnt comment on a standard one speed

I've had the RS4, RS4 3 and the NTC3......

I'm currently running the NTC3 and would rather have it over the HPI RS4's anyday. Excellent car in my opinion and they are very easy to work on. Also has alot more adjustments to get it setup just the way you like it.........great car for a newb or a racer............

One thing to check is your LHS, see what they stock parts for........It's no fun having to order stuffs, and wait for it to arrive, to get you running again...

good luck and enjoy!

ok jw what kind of engine does it have and is it a pullstart or what, is there anything i should know about before i buy it, can somone give me some information on it, thanks. I think I'm going to go ahead and try to win that car, and if i can't get it for that amount on ebay ill just order it

No thats not the RS4 3 EVO....thats an ORIGINAL RS4.....belt drive car.......good car but ya have to run it on a fairly clean surface............at least I did when i had mine. The tiny gravels off the pavement would get in the belts, usually the rear, and strip the teeth on the rear diff gear and the belt. Good luck with it....nice looking ride!!
