I have a Savage 25 and I went to my LHS and wanted to buy glowplugs for it. They don't carry many HPI parts so they had no HPI glowplugs in stock. The lady that worked there said that "this" Traxxas glowplug was compatible with my engine. I am wondering if something like useing a different companys glow plug with different engine is safe? It would be good if they were but I don't want to ruin an engine just because I didn't want to wait for the proper glowplug to come in. Thanks for any help.

i have been running the os 8 plug since new and have never had a problem and still on the original engine probally about 3 gallons if fuel through it

Ok, so have anyone run Traxxas plugs in theirs? I will get the specs of the plug tommarow but I just got a shower and I don't want to run out to my garage to find out what type of Traxxas plug it is.

Ok, so this will NOT harm my engine in any way? I just really wouldn't like to find out that I trashed my engine, even though I want to buy a better one some day, but still. :)
