my son has a nitro sport, and after spending 20 mins to crank it all it does is take off wide open without the controller as soon as he hits the brakes it gos dead. on my 3.3 the spur gear moves freely nitro sport ? and one more thing it takes awhile to get fuel to the carb and when it does its not a constant flow.the motor is a pro .15

i got my son a rustler with a pro 15 2wks ago. i tore the thing apart found there is a gasket on the exhaust pipe. mine was ripped so it leaked. i fixed with a little bit of black gasket goo. these have to have back pressure from the pipe to the fuel tank to run. also, hows your throttle servo act when the truck is just sitting with power on? dose it operate normally? throttles open and closed along with the trigger? if so adjust your carb settings, i have them but need to look them up...let me know if you need them.
