RC Driving Style
Hey guys tell me whats better a nitro sport or a rc18t. I am gonna be driven this truck in grass,and dirt and i was wondering what should i get for my first truck? I found a nitro sport for 175.99 combo on towerhobbies and the Rc18t for like 150.00 and i am looken for a cheap nitro truck if i can't find none then ill go with the rc18t
So tell me what u think about the nitro sport. is it a good truck for a Begginer and about how many gallons of fuel can u get threw the motor without rebuild.
And the rc18t tell me should i get that or the nitro sport.
 
i would get the nitro sport i had 1 and i went threw3 gallons of 20 obrien fuel and i traded it it was runing stoung curtis
 
ok so u like it? do u think its a good first nitro truck and do u know how much to the piston sleeves cost? does this truck have power tell me somethings about it that u like and disliked
 
well a new pison and sleve will coast $30-40 at most it has just as much power or more then the rc10 gt i liked more i had both but the nitro sport se needs ball bearings i would get it and the tire i dont like i would get proline bowtie t for the back and proline egde for the frount it was reliable truck always started and ran fine if you have any more question just ask i will be happy to answer them the best i can curtis
 
The XXX-NT is fun.. the grass down here (when cut short) is allright ...the dog-bones pick up some cut grass and it get wrap aroung the shafts but still having fun!!!! the RC18 I don't know about ask around

ok thanks i am thinken about the nitro sport because it has a ez-starter and i want it for a begginer truck
 
i dont have that much so it is the nitro sport or the electric rc18t
 
the nitro sport, to me, seems like it would kind of be a lil weak. not quite as durable maybe. also the ez-start is a big pain, the one way bearing that spins the motor always slips, and gears strip and stuff. But hell, what do i know lol. I've never owned either of them. just nitro rustlers. :fro:
