So it seems to me that the Nitro Slash gets a lot of mixed reviews from people in the RC community. I haven't been able to get any solid answers about some of the upgrades for it. I have realized, by driving it, and by reading reviews, that the suspension in the slash is very spongy. I have already bought a set of big bore shocks for the beast, and will install as soon as I receive them in the mail. What else do people run into issues with? What are some of the most common upgrades for the slash?

from what i've read the common problem is the tires,i have a slayer pro which i think has the same boots and they are like driving on ice so i could only imagine wht it would be like in 2wd

Look into the upgrades for the Rustler, the Nitro Slash is basically a stretched Rusty with a Short Course body.

Yep tires are always the first thing to be replaced on Slash and Slayer, they are useless! Shocks on both are also way too soft. The Slash 2WD is a great truck however the 4x4 is rubbish and just not a very good truck, I've seen them run and drove a local one a few times, it handled like a tank. If you want a 4WD electric go with Losi, even the WD Associated isn't near as good out of the box.
