Nitro Rustler vs. Rustler

Well i've changed my mind from the Traxxas Jato to a Rustler. I'm not sure what the real diffrence between the Nitro Rustler and the Rustler is. I know that one has a motor and the other has an engine. A friend of mine said that theres like a 5 mph diffrence between the two stock. I know Nitro is much more harder to maintain, but i believe i have enough experiance and knowledge to step up to nitro. I know break in all that stuff. I just want to know if it's worth it to get the Nitro version of the Rustler. :shrug:

imo the nitro is WAY faster.. that 2.5 is a torque monster on that little truck.. its all wether you want to go nitro or not.. its a whole new ball game my friend.

Yeah man, the Nitro rustler is WAYYYY faster than the electric one... prolly a 20-30mph difference...

Agreed,the electric rustler is crap imo,I've seen them,and the way there designed,crap, it's only good for about 20mph,the nitro rustler "Say's" 50mph,but i haven't seen it so i don't know.

i was reading the online manual and they said 47 MPH stock and 50 with some upgrade. Thanks for the input, any other opinions are greatly appreciated!

50mph!! PPFFTTT!! yea with a 800$ brushless setup and all cf.. then it would still have to be in the back of my car to hit 50mph!! lol

yes i meant the nitro version...i don't think it's possible unless the Electric version was sittin' in the back of my car!

no the nitro version will do over 60 with a 26T CB.
