so i was poking around on cl like always for rc stuff. and came across a gently used .15 rustler. i got it on a barter traded my compound bow for it that i can't shoot. i found out that i shoot left handed so it was useless to me. the rustler only has 2 scratches on the chassis and none on the body. i can't wait to run it and to install my os 18 cr-v. i will get some pics of it hopefully tomorrow. later shaun :D

good deal buddy! let us know if you need anything. enjoy the new toy!!

i totally stripped the baby .15 and there is totally no wear what so ever. so i'm going to run it and see what it has. and it wont take to much modding to get the os to fit. i think my revo might get lonely. lol

here are some pics of the rusty nothing special. when i was cleaning it the needle adjustments were so rich no wonder it wasn't run much. so i'm waiting on an air filter and then i will redo the break in process and we will see.

Well I finally got to run the rustler today. It was super hard to start. I sealed the engine and fresh glow plug. Cleaned the carb and set the screws back to stock slightly leaned. I would have to almost hold the trigger 1/4 throttle before it would start then it would run great. Any pointers thanks

i'm still having issues starting my .15. but when it starts it runs fine. is this common with these .15's. pinch test is about 3-4 sec and my gap is good. it launches good and holds a good temp but its a total pain to start. and I'm using the ezstart with a seperate ignitor.

That OS .18 ought to be incredibly sick. They use those to race Revos.

It's going to be a tight fit. I have to grind the mounts a little and a brace and it should be good. I pry will need a new pipe also. I'll take some pics when its in. It will be fun and a handful.
