my tmaxx wont go in foward or reverse it seam to be in the transmision everything elese seams to be working any idears

Could be the servo did you check that? Little more info? Will it still move when in forward or reverse? Could be a couple different things. Give us a little more info and we will try to give you a educated answer.

evreything is working with servos iwas running it and it just stoped engine still running i tryed to go from froward to reverse still nothing it acts like a clutch slipping or somthing in transmission not connecting

First check your linkage on the reverse servo, make sure it is moving in and out completely engaging both ways. Check your slipper clutch, make sure your spur gear is not just spinning. Will the truck roll freely if you push it?

The t maxx will roll freely even if there is a issue it uses bands in the tranny that engage with engine rpm. I'm guessing either a linkage on the forward reverse servo or you broke a band in the tranny or your slipper is loose.

There are no "bands" in the tranny, there are centrifugal clutches that engage with engine rpms. If he has a broken gear in the tranny, or in a diff it can prevent it from rolling no matter what the clutches are doing.

I had similar issues with my MGT 4.6 and it trned out that I kept shearing the pin on the reverse shaft as I kept switching it back and forth while it was still rolling causing the pin to shear. Its an easy fix for only a couple$ for a bag of trann pins. Unless you really use the reverse you may want to consider the FOC kit as it will make your Maxx lighter and have less rotating mass. Good luck!!!

If it acts like the clutch is slipping then maybe it is . the clutch or the slipper maybe needs to be tightened or the pegs replaced. if it is the old maxx not sure on the new ones cause i don't have the new one.
