What’s the most reasonable % Nitro fuel some one should get if he is looking into racing sedans? Probably using .18 - to - 21 engines,

currently I'm using Trinity Monster Fuel, and to say the truth I'm not liking it much, but the sad part is, its the only type of fuel available in my area. It has a 12% oil mixture, which I find great, and I'm using 25% nitro for my 18ss engine on my RS4, which I believe is a .18 and my savage 4.6 big block. Is what I'm using a good combination or should I look into a different % nitro?

I would say stay were you are at. unless you can buy a new engine in a few gallons of fuel, then bump your self up the 30%, but if you could get a 20%-25% with less oil (like around 8) that will help you, & you could stay at 20%-25%.

I use 25% maxy's race blend and add a small amount of castor oil to teh bottle.....works great, I get tons of ooommmph from the mills and they last a long time.....

I mix 30% and 20% and make my own special blend.. Because i can't find 25% fuel here. I mix 50 50 in a qt bottle.

interesting, i always thought that is was bad to mix fuels.

are you mixing the same brand of fuel. do they both have the same oil content

you should try 25%....I can't say exactly but I know I'm haveing excellent engine life w/ it and it gives similar punch as 30%.....
