Nitro fuel question

hey guys i have a losi xxx-nt2 with a sirio .12 motor (dont know how many ports) just wondering i couldnt get it running the other day and i just realized i bought new fuel but its 30%. I talked to someone today and they said 30% only works on some cars mostly bigger ones. is this true? or should it run? I'm getting a new glow plug odonnell hot and see if that works. any input on what percent to run if it matters would help. thanks

shouldent matter at all,20% 25% 30% i stick with byrons gen2 20% great stuff

it shouldnt matter tune it to stock then tune out when get it running

thanks for the input. yeah I'm having trouble finding stock specs for it so ill just have to mess with the needles. one other thing what is the best way you guys get these started without flooding it. I've been blowing into the tank until fuel gets to carb.should i blow until fuel actually enters the carb and case? i also hear plugging the exhaust will do it but I'm not much of a multi tasker.

you dont have to multi-task it


first i plug the exhaust with my finger and give the pull start a few tugs. you will see fuel moving up the line towards the carb, once the fuel hits the carb ill give it one or two more pulls.... then put your glow ignitor on and let it rip. it can help if you turn the idle up at the controller.

YES IT DOES MATTER. in that small of a motor you may need to shim the head out. smaller engines are designed to run on hotter plugs and less nitro whereas larger big block engines use cold plugs and higher nitro
