Hi guys and ladies
I've just purchased an SC8 from a friend who has only ran 6 tanks of 25% nitro through it to run it in. The question I have is that in the instructions manual it states 20% nitro , should I carry on running it with 25% nitro and it seems to run fine or should I revert back to 20% and if i do revert back to 20% what changes could I expect.

If 25% will cost you about the same as 20%....I would continue with it. You will get a bit more power, and the motor will run cooler with the higher nitro content.

If you do decide to swap to 20%, all you will need to do is adjust your tuning. So the choice really is up to you ;-)

They'll run 30% just fine. Seen lots of them running it. Almost every RTR car manual will state 20% fuel. B.S.! Big Block engines like 30% Nitro. They'll tune easier, run cooler and make more power. Use a medium heat range plug.
