Hi everyone
I have an exceed rc hyper speed buggy and I've had it for about 3 years. I drove it and broke in the engine when I first got it and then I let it sit for about 2 years. I want to start to drive it again but I can't get it to start. I'm looking for any suggestions on how to get it to start.

Depending on where the car was stored ,like outside ,inside ,the climate!
Half of my rides are stored in my house. My gt sat for 3 yrs with out any after run oil.
The carb had froze up but took it off an cleaned it with wd-40,sprayed ,then I rinsed the
fuel tank & flushed fuel lines with fresh fuel.

I forgot to add that I can get smoke to come out of the exhaust but nothing else happens

If you can get smoke ,then you know the glo-plug is good.An sounds like it will want to run.
It may just be a gummy or dirty issue ,an I heard of people pumping the engine with nitro
fuel to rinse the engine out, maybe rotating the engines flywheel by hand to loosen things up
with the glo-plug out,an dump the fuel out of engine, then try to restart it.
Try that!

I forget to add a lot of stuff that may help!...LOL
If the engine will fire after putting acouple of drops of fuel in the carb ,but wont stay running
after that burns off ,then your issue could be a clogged carb or a clogged fuel tank filter ,those
will also need to be cleaned.
Sometimes you have to take the needles out of carb an flush those areas out as well ,but you
do need to be careful with that so always note an mark down your needle settings.

I always run my needles in an count how many full turns was turned...run them down until
they bottom out ,an don't over tighten.
When putting them back in ,I like using a light coat of lube on the tiny O-rings ,it helps to seal ,
an protect from drying out an cracking.
I hope that this helps!
