There is. I've seen it on youtube. I'm not exactly sure where to get it though. It's commonly referred to as the "Ricky" for obvious reasons. I think it's electric though... not sure offhand.

yeah, I think thats electric though. Its the Ricky carmichael bike or something like that. not sure how to convert it to nitro though. or maybe it is nitro.

Yes, the electric dirt bike is the Ricky Carmichael Honda. It was sold by Radio Shack and they have been discontinued. I actually have one. They had them on clearance a while back for $20, then I stumbled on a sale at the RS when I went to get some solder, the last one they had was marked down to $12, so I grabed it. I had originally bought it only for the rider, since the rider is exactly the same as stunt steve from proline, and it was half the cost.

Well whats the first thing you do when you buy a new rc? tear it down right, lol. I decided to look inside and see what was in there. The servo was crap, and had no mount, it was just pinched between the chassis plates which are actually aluminum.

Sooo, what happened next was a full upgrade to hobby grade electrics. I have a mtronics waterproof forward only esc, 7.2 v lipo pack, Reedy Kryptonite 12 turn modified motor, standard servo but this time I mounted a servo mount between the chassis plates, and made all new linkages for it. I still need to balance the gyro and finish reassembling everything. But it got pushed to the back burner when I started on the tuber. It's actually a very cool looking bike, especially for a rat shack piece.

BTW, someone did do a nitro conversion to one and did like an 8 part vid series on you tube of how he built it.

Oh. Ok well i'm sure I will be able to fine one somewhere. So what do you think of putting 3 lipos and a brushless motor in that thing?

I dont know, it may be too much, might make it impossible to handle. I am even woried I am putting too much motor in mine, but we'll see once I get it back together. =devil

so what kind of run time would you get from something like that do you think?

this much?

I'm not sure. I will be using a maxx amps 3000mah lipo pack.

they got one on ebay for 200$ :/

$200 bucks for a stock RS Ricky? WOW! Maybe I should finish mine and throw it on evilbay. Nah, after they get their cut and pp gets theres I might get my $12 back, lol.
