I am looking at this battery - 6.0v NiMH 1800mah AA Hump Rx Receiver Battery Pack, Size: 43x53x27. Comes standard with a high quality Gold plate Universal connector which is compatable with Airtronics Z, Futaba, Hitec and JR. - & I am wondering if the dimensions of this battery will allow it to go in my battery box w/o modifications.
I want the highest mah possible for longevity of the charge,I would like to do buisness with the savage central store but they are sold out of the 1400 mah.I have searched everywhere & must admit I'm not sure about some of the hump packs for sale out there,a lot of them do not say what size cell they are, only mah & voltage.
If anyone has any info on this;or any other hump pack that is 1500 mah or higher & will fit the savage 25 w/o mods. & is a reliable source (NO E-BAY! ) Please let me know.

Well I know it can be done,& I know how to solder, but I have never done it before.I would like to get something ready to pop in the battery box.I have been looking at batteries all day & the myriad of choices & the lack of certain info make it hard to decide. What do you think about the size of the hump pack I mentioned earlier, think it will fit in the savage battery box? They are a standard 3x2 stack so I don't know why they wouldn't.
