Next problem

Man I just can't get a break! I ordered a bunch of expensive parts and the newest problem is the blue CV boots I bought. I spent over 50 bucks with shipping on these boots and they are way too small for the shafts. I guess I am just gonna run them without boots. I dont think it will be an issue because I dont go i mud boggin. As for my issue with the different shades of blue the only thing that really doesn't match is the shock towers so I will just order the Fastlane silver ones and that should be fine. I just need to get some more blue parts to replace the purple factory parts. As for now I just built the truck stock. Its almost done I am just putting the shocks on. Man I love this thing!! I wasn't sure if I got the right truck but now I now that this is the best choice by far!:

I'm sorry but 50 dollars for CV boots ?? ebay has em for like 15 bucks i think shipped and I'm sure the ones for 50 arent that much better... gotta look around on ebay man you can get just as good quality as the online hobby stores and the shipping is usually cheaper and the prices are way more affordable. i actually have received all my rc needs from ebay even buying my savage x 4.6 bran new from ebay and saved about 75 bucks compared to the online rc stores.. Some users may not like ebay but if your on a budget and wanna spend realistic prices ebay is the ticket.

I would look at some boots on ebay and maybe even take back the boots if you can get a refund because 50 dollars on ebay will actually get you some nice stuff on there.

Thanks for the links Assassin. I should clarify that my order came to 50 bucks but 20 of it was shipping and I ordered 5 sets of boots because I thought there was only 2 in a package because their page was confusing. The 5 sets came to 29.22 plus shipping is 50 bucks. They offered to refund me because apparently they were supposed to have removed the listing on ebay for this very problem but I have to pay to ship them back so I may just keep them for something else.

Dont worry Beav, we all feel your pain on constantly fixing rigs, I spent almost $90 on needed & cosmetic upgrades on my Jato, just to have my tranny case bust on the first well-tuned run...

No Problem.

If you want a really cool set up, grab the HPI graphite bulkhead braces & Platinum-RC carbon fiber lower bulkhead plate & engine plate.

That would eliminate color issues, be stronger, light, & the coolest IMO, just tossing ideas at yah.
