hey everyone,
I'm looking at getting a tc3, what is the difference between a single, double, and triple motor?

I believe it deals with the powerband. With a single wind, the power band is in a lower RPM range, a double is in the middle RPM range, and a triple motor is higher RPM range. For off-road, you usually want a single or a double. Most on-road, go for a double or a triple. However, this all depends on your track. Wide open, lots of speed, go for a triple. Lots of turns, go for a lower wind.

mattyk6 is right on.

Rule of thumb....Singles have the most bottom end, then doubles and so on. Multi-wire armatures usually move the power band up in the RPM range. There are exceptions to this rule, but this is a good guideline.
