I just want to thank everyone for there opinions and advice. As of now, I am still undecided with what I want to buy. I eventually would like to race, so I want a good car. I am possibly considering getting a kit car, so i can get to know the car really good. there is only one good hobby store where i live, and he only sells traxx and team losi parts. He says that he could order the parts for me, but i'm sure he'll somehow or someway try to make a buck off of it too. Are there anygood dealers that I can look at for the Nitro or HPI cars???

Here is my two cents: I would narrow it down to two cars depending upon what your budget is - and future intentions. The NTC3 with a good powerplant, is the best, most reliable, most durable touring car available in my opinion. But for everyones point of view - there is no discussion - it handles better than just about any TC available. The HPI RS4 SS would be my only other recommondation. It is a little bit cheaper - and comes with an engine. Even though you will hear some people tell you that these may be too much car for you at first, I disagree. I made the mistake of getting an entry level car at first, and all it did was break, get damaged, and was very difficult to control. Plus, after a few months, I had to drop several hundred more dollars to upgrade to a good quality kit. I stongly encourage you not to buy a RTR car. By purchasing a kit - it will enable you to learn about the mechanics of the car as you build it. This will prove very invaluable when you have your first wreck. I know that both the HPI and the AE are exeptionally easy to assemble, as I have an NTC3, and my neighbor has the HPI. Good Luck, and welcome to my addiction! :o

One thing about buying a kit. Its not good if your a complete noobie! If you dont own a Car/Truck already...dont get a kit. RTR's are the best things you can buy for your first car/truck. But hey...Go with waht your lhs supplies parts for. The also can provide valueable knowledge and support when you need it the most. Good luck on your decision!
