a few question for you guys.... i am gettin ready to put ina order at tower and i am gettin a ofna fail safe, throttle return spring and a few other things.. first what TRS should i get. there are alot of different ones.. second where do i mount it to? third where do i plug the fail safe to and where do i mount that?? sry guys but I'm new at this..

by the way its a stock 2.5 t-maxx

thanks for any helP

1st i dont know really if you get the ofna fail safe it will hit the brakes when you go out of range and it tells you when your batterys are low. i love mine i have a rechargeable batterypack with the charging jack outside the radio box so if my batts. are low plug them in for an hour there good for a full tank. good luck

Ok, good choices. I have an ofna fail safe, and what you do is plug the throttle servo into one end of the fail safe, plug the other end of the fail safe into the reciever box. Your can just mount it on your reciever box or where ever it is convienent for you. (The ofna fail safe comes with a little piece of strong double sided tape for mounting.

As far as the throttle return spring, it doesn't really matter, but this is one kinda like mine. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDTA1&P=7 I like the stronger springs for mine. You mount it like this...

I hope that I helped you.

o yea, and that pic is for attatching a trs if you have a rotary carb. I have a rotary and that is how I installed it. If you have a slide carb, I have heard that it is harder to install. So if you do have a slide carb, I am sorry but I can't help on that. Good Luck!
