iam just getting into the r/c world, i have a tmaxx with the 3.3 its all stock iam looking to up the performance a littlebit.

what are some good performance mods that i can do to this thing seems like the THS pipes are popular what about the buku pipes they anygood and a motor saver airfilter. Do they have like a bigbore piston and sleeve i can put in iam very new at this r/c stuff tuneing is no problem for me just need to know what are good mods so i dont waste my cash

also my clutch is out it "clutch bell" dosnt hardly move when WOT what is a good simple clutch setup iam not looking for max performance that i have to screw with it alot or high maintnece just looking for something a little better then stock that will last longer than stock and hopefully put the power down to the ground, iam wanting to go with a good 2 peice clutch

A very simple yet noticable "mod" you can do is to simply reverse the clutch shoe oreintation. from a dragger to a pusher.
Take out your engine, remove the bell, and notice how the shoes are installed from factory. stock setup is a dragger. in other words... the pins holding on the shoes are on the leading end of the shoe. switch this to the pusher position, so that the pins are on the trailing end of the shoe.

by doing this you will get a more positive engagement with less slip, and increased clutch life.

As far as pipe go... stick to the stock resonator as long as your running that 3.3.

so the stock pipe is hard to beat huh? man i was hopeing for some more HP. What about the clutch bell is there a better one maybe one that will get rid of heat a little faster.

So what about the clutch i understand the dragger vs pusher concept but whats a good clutch to get for it i thought i remember seeing some steel or aluminum ones but that seems like it would eat up the clutch bell really fast.

Also what is the slipper clutch that people talk about?? is my stock one fine or should i upgrade

I found my info one the slipper clutch

I hear the stock 3.3 pipe is pretty good as it gets. But I've been eyeing the Extreme RC Mods pipes that he shows on here. They look awesome! as far as the clutch goes, thats a good idea Dub, never thought of that. Might have to try that out.:)
