Got some new wheels today, nothing special but they have a half inch offset and makes the truck a hell of a lot more stable on the turns. plus these new tyres do not balloon like my old tyres did.

Skid lid number 2 almost complete, will post pics as soon as i can.

Thats the ones, although it does not say anything about the half inch offset on that page. Only got new stock HPI savage tyres on these rims cus i ordered from LHS and it was pot luck as to what i got.

I happen to like the stock HPI tires they hook up nicely and look good too. Those rims look tight though really they do. Let us know how they hold up to the abuse of the metal wheel hexes.

Did you glue em

Did you glue em yourself I was wondering if you got any glue on the wheels or tires . I hate that and seem to always do it . Those wheels are of the hook! Heres a picture of my new bow ties I use for racing at the South Kansas City Track

Nice looking beast. Have some claw dogs on order along with a new .26 engine and cb. Yes i did glue them myself and no i did not get any on the wheels or tyres, just took my time doing them whilst watching the simpsons. I use a plastic straw on the end of the glue pot because it sits behind the rim wall and stops the glue from oozing out.
