new wheels and tyres

any suggestions for new wheels and tyres for the savage,

I have the 17mm hex hubs so need them to fit that

can you put 1/8 scale truggy wheels on a savage?

how would handling be on them?

IMO the best combo ever:
Maximizer Beadlocks 3.2 17mm 1/2 offset, Team Losi Zombie-Max tires, and Proline Inserts.

I just did and impulse buy at the lhs. Ended up with some 40s moabs. These are on 23mm rims. But here is a comparison shot of them next to the Tera Pins.

I've always like the look of the Zombie tires. One day I will get some to try out.

Me too, I like the looks of Zombie tires. For 40 series, I always wanted to try Big Joes.

what ever you do dont buy hot bodies put some on my xl had it for 2 days and spun the centers of the rims out

I have the Big Joes on my Savage and they do have grip....they are as wide as steam rollers so they better.

I had some big joes for my emaxx setup. Didn't use them much due to the weight but they had some great grip on them. Traded them off before I got the xl and would of liked to have them back for it now. I think they would do good on the xl.
