New TV for Halo 2!

Ok I had to buy a new TV for the release of Halo 2. It was delivered yesterday. I replaced a 54" 4:3 projection with a 56" Widescreen format. I have to say it barley fit in my cabinet it was so wide. But I think it looks cleaner that way. This TV also has a Digital video in and my old TV just had S-Video so that is a plus. Also it can display a videogame and TV side by side so I can play games why the old lady watches tv, it's pretty sweet. It's called twin screen as opposed to PIP.

The game comes out the 9th (duh!) Now I have the 10th, 11th, and 12th off of Nov and the 13th and 14th are the weekend. My Halo2 Collector's edition is pre-purchased and I just sit and counts the days now!

That is an awesome tv! Is it hi def too? I wonder of you could play halo deathmatch side by side with an opponent. Of course you couldnt hide from him, but it would be fun

YES it is HDTV up to 720p and 1080i. And you could hook up 2 Xbox's to play side by side on this TV, what a sweet feature twin screen is!

thats nice. it just irritates my eyes too much to play video games on that big a screen unless the couch were like 10 feet away you have to move your head and all a nice medium size is fine for video games. i want one too!

Damn Blazer! I thought our t.v. barely fit in our cabinet. That's awesome! I've always had a pet pieve about big cabinets and little t.v.'s. Nice choice!

Man!!! Time is getting close. I'm totally envious of having a screen that big to play on. I was going to hold off on getting H2 until the clamor died down.
BUT THERE WAS A FREAKING COMMERCIAL FOR IT ON TV THE OTHER NIGHT!!!!!!! No poop. It was on TLC or Discovery or something. I'm just sitting there watching tv when a commercial for Halo 2 comes on. Well it worked. I now gotta have it. So you can bet that next Tuesday I'll be all over Target/EB/Media Play to find this....

Tonight on SpikeTV they're having some sort of Halo 2 thing. It's a promo show but I think it's supposed to be a live-action version of the game. Spike is totally hyping the game and I'm getting overly psyched. Tuesday is coming fast. I have a few calls to make to see if I can reserve a copy. I just realized I have like $30 in gift cards to Media Play so you can bet I'll blow them on that game. I'm totally in...
