RC Driving Style
i have a slight delimma and just wanted to see what you guys thought. ok at present i have a Nitro TC3 and a slightly hoped up T-Maxx. i have been getting a little fed up with the 2.5 due to tuning and the heat sink sucking. i thought about converting to .21 but a nice kit is pretty pricey almost as much as a brand new Savage. there are lots of cheap kits but they don't upgrade the tranny and i hear all sorts of stories about people strripping gears blowing diffs due to the extra power so i have decided not to do that. now should i
A:sell the T-Maxx and get a Savage SS
B:sell the TC3 and get a Savage SS
or C: just buy the Savage SS and keep my current R/Cs as well

i don't think C: will work out cuz my mom will be like "WTF??? how many cars do you need you should be saving for like stuff!"

uummm. if it was me i would sell the tc3 and keep the t maxx and then get the savage. but this is u, depends on what is around ur area. do u have concrete? dirt? mud? those sorts of things.

Now if I where you I would try to get the other one without selling either or. But why would you want another truck, keep the maxx and savage, the 2.5s arnt the worse, just put a better head and see if that works, if not, tune better.
 
ya, the 2.5 isnt necessaraly a bad motor it just runs a little hot. i would get a different head as my friend did and they should work perfect. i would get the Nova 2.5 head. they are great heads and will do amazing on ur motor.

yeah i was thinking about getting the crazy nut racing head. when i got the 2.5 i thought about the mabey going with the savage but decided against it because i was told that they have really sluggish handling and it was caused mainly by the giant squishy suspension and it was uncurable to a certain extent and that the t-maxx would be far more nimble but from most of the vids i see this isn't really so.
 
The conversion on the Maxx will cost a few dollars... If you want to upgrade it without worrying about a big block blowing trannies and such, consider a Sirio S18TX.

i think that i may just save a while and get a savage and keep my other R/Cs cuz you can never have too many. hehehehe or if i really like one way better than the other i could allways have a truck to expirement with or use as a back up

yeah i have been there before. ninjas are the only people in the whole world who have the true ulitimate power hehehehe
