hi i've got a t-maxx 2.5 and a savage 25 and both are hopped up and i was getting frustrated with the t-maxx not by te parts breaking but the engine not running right, so i was thinking of the mta 4 thunder tiger truck i can get it for £400 at my lhs but i know it's a bargain but i've heard that lot's of things go wrong with them. i mean i don't want another truck to fix the weak points.

What is the perfromance like compared to the savage and the t-maxx.

Ok I have the US version of it : The Team Associated Monster GT. I Love it. The Performance of the TT PRO 21 is understated. Yes the Savage and the Tmaxx are faster than it out of the box. I have a friend that Ported my MGT and it easily out runs an hyper 21 8 port. Geared properly it will outrun a Picco 26 . I have tried it against a Picco 26 in a mammoth. It does outrun it. There are ALWAYS weak points to a RC nitro kit one way or another. The MGT unfortunately had a batch that had known problems with it. Go search the Monster GT threads here and you will find them. As far as the support it will come. Like the Mammoth it is still TOO new to have the support the Savage and the TMAXX have now. GPM Racing and RC- Solutions has a really nice cage for it. The cool thing about the MGT is it will accept a 26, or a 28 size mill without a conversion kit like the TMAXX. Recently the there is a picco 21 that will Directly bolt right onto the Maxx . The things I would like to have been improved are the shocks, CVA's and turnbuckles. I have had to replace my CVA's a few times and the turnbuckles almost immediatley! The shocks I am waiting for a good set to pop up.

NE ways I will try and do a review on it and post it soon.

Did u replace the CVA's cause they broke or cause they fell of and went missing...with all the small parts...screw and all...we have 2 MTA's here and both lost the front 1 almost at the same time. We were running on a grassfield, and only found 1 of them again...the only good thing about it is that the part is fairly cheap...Have had no problems with the turnbuckles...trashed 2 shocks and the shocktower and frontbumber....this is my first Monster, have had other nitros in the past, and do have a 1:10 Kyosho...but the MTA is way more fun..:)
