New Track in Reno, Nv

Well just got back from lhs. They say the new track will be in play in 2 weeks. It will be the first outdoor track ever for Reno, so I'm kinda interested in how it turns out. This weekend they have the dirt/clay coming in, and this will be a work weekend for everyone who wants to help prepare the track. I think I will go down and see and get a feel of what takes place. I have no clue on how it will be layed out. No drawings or pictures have been giving at the meetings to give a genral idea of how things will be laidout. It's owned by the city, but members will have to keep up the maintance of it. I will try and take pictures if allowed and get them on the site. To get there Interstate 80 runs right thru Reno/Sparks stay on 80 to the E. McCarren exit. There are two McCarren exits. An East and West. Take the East Exit. Go South on E. McCarren roughly 2.5 miles and Mira Loma Park will be on your Left (east) and it will be over near the skate park. I live here in Sparks right by the Marina (E.McCarren Exit) Pm me when you think you will be thru or want to see the track, and I will be happy to meet up and take you there. It's easy to find. I will keep everyone posted.

Yea, I was by last weekend and the track is coming together nice. Too bad you did not make it out to our races in fallon this winter.
