The owner and the manager of Hare's Hobby Shop have been working together to build a track in Alexandria, LA behind the shop. It's about finished and we're beginning to run on it some. Once the timing system is installed, they will begin holding club races regularly and most likely some larger races eventually.

It's no thrown together home track, they have done things right and it's payed off. We now have a really nice track in Alexandria. If you have any questions, send me a PM.

Right now, the timing system is the only thing left to do to get the track finished. Although there's no timing system, Hare's welcomes driver to come out to the track and have a "test and tune" (as we call it in drag racing) session. For only $5 a person can run all day long if they feel like it.

For those of you who don't know where Alexandria is, it's right in the middle of Louisiana.

Is that ABOVE sea level?
I've noticed quite a few guys here from the state of LA. I'm sure you'll find some of them there.

bout 2 hour drive for me. If only i had somewhere to stay............... lol

not to mention, the almost open new Charles House Bash Palace. lol

I was about the ask what the Charlies House Bash Palace was. I think I got it figured out though. I'm starting to think about hosting an RCNT get together and bash/race

we REALLY do need to do that. I almost went to one they put together a couple years ago but couldn't make it for some reason or another. I'd love to get together with some fellow RCNTers.

I just got done having a bash/crawl session with Smaxxin. I don't know if he had more fun with the baja or if I had more fun with the crawler, but it was great. He helped me with the track too, and we got a lot done. I just need to get the tractor with the front end loader again I'll have it finished up.
