well I have been on this forum only about a month but have been reading stuff for much longer and today I finally had the opportunity to run and tune my engine (the LHS did my first one for me) I just got an old MT with an os cvx engine and it was basically EASY to tune once i figured out which direction was leaner and ritcher on my LSN and HSN. Took it back to factory senntings and then started to lean her out (it was spitting raw fuel out of the exhaust it was running so rich) it was really a great feeling til it hit a curb but thats besides the point it was just a lot of fun getting it to FINALLY run and run correctly. uh oh now I'm hooked and so is my walet :help:

I's nice to finally be able to tune an engine in, to know what it needs, apply that info and make it cruise.

If you add that to en engine that will hold a tune.. whew.. then nitro becomes a blast..

Why I almost left the hobby before I got into it...I wasTrying to tune a worn out engine. Once I got a hold of a decent engine I was hooked too...Today my savage started on the second pull after sitting for a week... that was soo nice!

This makes me think of how frustrated I was when I first got my Maxx. That damn 2.5 was a lemon I think, because I know others with the 2.5 that don't have near the trouble holding a tune as I did. Oh well, don't have that trouble anymore. I sold it to one of those sther people that have a 2.5 for spare parts. When you don't have an engine you don't have to worry about its tune. LOL!!!!!!
