i had the same problem with my tmaxx i put the 3.3 on my 2.5 and it was used. but it would run for a bout 15 or 20 minutes then shutoff. so i went through the whole engine and found that the cooling head wasn't completely sealed. so i took it off and put it back on and its been running awesome ever since.

also try tuning it up if that doesn't work.

Ok thanks alot bud ill try that ill let ya knw how it goes thnks man

yea sounds like the head to me, as well. once the engine gets hot and things expand, the gap becomes big. let us know!

if i were you i wouldnt run it again till i got a good temp sensor, you have no idea were the tune is, and could do fatal damage to that engine.....jus sayin...

Thanks guys i put a new motor and its running great I'm loving it

Sounds like you had the all too common half tank lean out issue.. after an engine is worn out pretty well they tend to act funny after some run time.
