While perusing FB marketplace ended up finding a deal i thought was a bit to good to pass up.
person local to me was selling a Sakura D5s and some goodies with it:
eventually the Onyx brushless system is going to be swapped out for a 10.5 or 13.5 brushless combo, but will be fine for now.
came with a Yokomo DP-302 gyro v4, Yokomo SP-02D servo, yeah racing shocks, and a spektrum receiver which works perfect for me as i run a Spektrum D5c TX.
It also came with a 2nd gen RX7 and a Toyota AE86 body and 2.5 sets of tires.
it did not come with the rear body posts for magnetic mounts so had to improvise and made my own.
originally bought it for the gyro and servo to throw into my dc10, but i think I'm going to be less stressed about crashing this one.
think i am going to learn with this one then when i get more comfortable at drifting 1/10 going to swap the servo and gyro to my DC10 and have this as my spare.
