hey i just a t-maxx 3.3 for my b-day i trying to figure out what is the best hop up part for it like a muffle or air flitter or something.

I've been hearing that the 3.3 is blowing out drivetrain components straight out of the box (revo 3.3 too). I'm in the process of dropping a TRX 3.3 in my Maxx, fortunately it's about 90% upgraded so I don't expect any powertrain issues. I would say the diffs should be your first upgrade, if not that then CVD's. Cheapest way to upgrade the diffs is to upgrade the cup to the aluminum Maximizer type. $35/ea. x 2. you'll need to modify your ring gear however to accept a larger screw, or you can bite the bullet and buy the cups with modified gears (stock or RRP). I already have RRP ring and pinions but I'll be purchasing the cups next month and doing the modification myself.

really about the t-maxx cuz i hope that doesn't happend to mine thanks for that info.

When i got my Maxx first things I bought were a Motorsavers airfilter and RPM a-arms and skids. Plus a failsafe and fuelfilter. Good Luck!

I'm doing the repairs for the local HobbyTown here and have had to replace drive components on 3.3s that are less then a week old. If your going to be doing wheelies and driving it on the street you can expect the same.

Difs and metal bones are a great place to start. You will be replacing them sooner then later. You may also want to invest in a metal double slipper. I have also replaced a few melted slippers and toasted transmissions.
