I've a brandly new T-Maxx, and why does it not steer well, i mean when it's stoped, when i steer the tires only move a bit ... is it normal ?

Thanks

Sure is normal... thats what you get when you put a weak servo together with a crappy servo saver...

Yes on a stock maxx with a 2055 traxxas servo it will not want to move the tires while the vehicle is standing still. I would suggest replacing that servo with a Hitek 645mg or 5645mg digital servo. This will make a huge improvement to your steering. And while you are at it replace the servo saver with a kimbrough servo saver.

The 625 is a high speed servo and would be better suited for a throttle/brake servo. The 645 is a high torque servo, and would be better for steering than the 625. So you used a servo horn as opposed to a servo saver? Bad idea, one hard shot to the front wheels and you will destroy the servo. I strongly suggest you get a servo saver asap.

Tomorrow, i will get a new servo saver or only the adapter to fit it into the hitec servo, and when I get more money i'll buy the 645 one... Anyway thank's for the help..

also make sure the turning linkage is all nice and free flowing, use some graphite powder too lube it up abit. it wont fix you turnning prob but it will help.

Now I've the hitec 645mg as steering servo and hitec 625mg as throtle servo, the only thing that i dindn't change, because my hobby dealer didn't have any in stock was the servo saver, but next week i'll get it

may invest in a receiver pack as well. it'll speed up the 645mg. after all, that is what it was intended for use with.

wich receiver pack ? can u tell me wich ? otherwise i'm waiting for my local dealer to get a decent servo saver...

i'll try to get one of these in my local dealer, hope that they have some :|, just another question, how can i charge this one ?

Try the Proline Steering setup/servo saver. Awesome.

Have you got a Link to a online store please ?

tried tower hobbies but they say it's disco'd

I finally have the servo saver, it's from powerline, is it good ? Anyways, i think that the servo horn is weak, witch one should replace it ?

get racers edge aluminum horns...cheap and durable for what they are.....about 3.50 each.......if you are still using the servo saver as your servo horn you will get more slop than before...

After the steering I start to change some other parts.
Those are the parts bought

Motor Saver filter - no pic :\
