oh my god .I've just taken advice on my t maxx not engaging reverse which i resolved thanks to you guys , car idles lovely on is quick off the mark gets reverse every time BUT now it has eaten two glow plugs in one tank of fuel ,what the hell did i do wrong :spit:

well I've just put a new plug in, wound the hsn out 4 1/2 turns drove it around 1 min checked temp with spit test, i could even hold the engine, kept on turning hsn in 1/8 at a time truck would not engage 2nd then performance started to improve a little still no 2nd gear though then pop stopped dead checked plug with ez start knackered and engine was deffo not too hot.can it be anything i did to the truck to get it to go into reverse on my first forum this is mind boggleing i did visit the link by the way thanks for that it was informative but doesn't solve this mystery

It sounds like it's definitely too rich. Start with the HSN at 3 1/2 turns out. Start it and keep it running till it warms up, then hit throttle and see if it has good take off. If not, let me know what it does. You need to get the idle/LSN working and then we'll tune on the HSN. For now, it should be close.
