New T-maxx engine and no start.

I just got back a new engine from traxxas through engine replacement program.

I got it installed, tuned for break-in, but it will not start. It turnes over fine, fuel is getting to the carb, the plug is working.

Any ideas what's wrong ?

try another glow plug sometimes there bad and you won't know it till you start it or it runs and pull the igniter off and quits. JT

Check and see if the one way bearing on the ez start is in backwards. I had the same problem with mine It would turn over all day long but just wouldn't light off took it apart turned the owb around where the letters face the engine and bingo! fired right up

Are you using the EZ Start? Arte you sure the engine is turning over not just the EZ Start motor? If so Make sure the battery is FULLY charged. The engine will spin before the plug is lit so if the battery is weak it may not get the plug hot enough for the rich break-in conditions.

If the OWB is backward the engine itself will NOT turn over. The EZ start motor will spin but the engine won't.

umm

i must ask was it mandatory to tune it b4 breakin??? cuz i did that and it tookk me weeks to get it right for my first tank of gas... o yea well hopeuflly u didnt mess with the tuning too bad and like the others say "try another glow pug" u will go through a couple b4 it starts up right. i dont use ez start ignitor, i use a glow stick ignitor... better cuz i will start up first time every time with these/
