Wow, thats a first gen FLM chassis there, don't see many of those any more!

Lookin good, what engine are you planning to run?

I have a modded 3.3 Traxxas engine. Its prob going to be shelf queen anyhow.:D

Thanks. Having trouble finding those red alum parts. so far truck is FLM, Integy, Rd logics, and some dynamite alum. Going to be selling my Rs4 so I can purchase the alum trans. Think this will be my last show truck build. Way to expensive.:D And all srews are supermaxx used on this build.

Another build?,lol, looks sweet man I like how you are doing the first gen thing

Looks good. I hope this is going to be a shelf queen because no offense intended but the dual stinger exhaust never worked very well. They "look" cool but the performance was terrible. Are you keeping the A-arms white or are you going to try to dry them?

Look into STrc parts I know they make red aluminum for the Npede. Duratrax is also a second option. You could also anodize the parts yourself for cheap

Yeah its def going to be a shelf queen, I do run this same slimline dual exhaust on a 2.5 truck have had no prob's with it. I have broken several integy and RD logics rear exit pipe's though.

Yah I guess you can say I am old school. I will prob be modding a newer 3.3 style trans though to use on this build.:D

Those rd logics boxes look sweet!! Tempted to get a set for my maxx. Just the electrics though. I like my proline tank. Also where did you find the bumpers?

I had problems with my FLM skids bending so I made a bumper block for the front skid. So far it has not bent since. Might want to consider doing something similar.

Nice! Great idea and i may do just that due to i keep bending my GPM front skid. I need to go ahead and find some good aluminum bumpers and mounts. Got a set in mind I'm watching on ebay at the moment.

Bumpers from ebay, not sure of brand. I have not seen another set though.

I got my bumpers and mounts off of Ebay as well, no idea what brand mine are either. But seriously on the skids, you will bee to reinforce the front...they bend really easy.

Honestly truck will prob never see any use. If it does I will def remember the reinforcement idea. Thanks

Well then I have to say... becareful when you are pushing it around in the floor making engine sounds... For mine I put shower caps over the tires so they don't come in contact with the carpet.... ugh, the carpet fiber and dust....Just kills me..lol.

LOL!! Now thats funny. This will prob be my last shelf queen, at least my wife hopes so. When this build is through I am starting a big block revo. But its going to get beat on alot.:D Thinking of going with track setup front and back on the maxx build going all out on this one. Just bought an RC solutions alum cage for it should be here this week. When its installed will get some new pics.

I built a T-Maxx and Savage that should be shelf queens but I was like a little kid...couldn't stand to NOT run them....it was horrid...laughing because it was fun and crying becasue it was getting dirty... Oh the internal conflict...

I feel ya there man. I have a Big Block Tmaxx I built years ago. Broke the engine in, after that it just sit. A buddy of mine came over one day and rode my butt about never running it. So you know where this is going ended up at local bus garage, my buddy was like use a gravel pile beside a school bus see if you can clear it. Well it did landed on the front of truck bent the crap out of the alum bulks bent drive shafts. I think I cried a bit. No more alum parts on trucks I beat on all the time.
