Okay I recently broke my clutch and am thinking about getting a better spur gear then the stock 2.5 and was wondering what tooth amount I should get.

Wait I think I mean the clutch bell. Sorry. They one attached to the engine.

If your looking for more torque and less top speed, get a bell with less teeth.
More top speed and less torque, more teeth.

The engine you are running will play a factor on how many teeth you can add and not be geared too tall for the engine output.

Well I recently upgraded my 2.5 to a new 2.5r and wondering what would be good for some wheelies?

what Snook said ! that's what i run on my Maxx and it's a wheelie beast !

Do I have to upgrade the spur also and what are the stock clutch and spur by the way.

20/70 is stock for the 2.5. with a 18T bell either the 70t or 72t spur should have you popping wheelies with a decent tune.

Okay thanks. Could I go to 17t and 72t or is that to much

17T is pretty low, very torque and much less top speed, but it will work. Keep in mind that you loose appox 2.5 mph from top speed per 1 less tooth on the clutch bell.

Okay 18t it is. And I guess when I order I'll pick up a 72t spur gear because it is only $4.
