new spur gear got a problem

Changed out my platic spur gear for an aluminum one and now it doesn't want to take off all the time it will just spin and not turn the wheels or just spin the wheels a little and the engin sounds like it should be flying down the yard.
Please help want to be bashing again soon

check your slipper clutch make sure its good and tight. then back off 1/4 turn

i did that it helped some but it still doesn't like to take off everytime

Check the clutch on the motor and make sure that your reverse is in gear properlly.

i think i got it just needed to do a little running after i got it tight enough need some new balls for the spur gear.

if your still experiencing slipping problems, maybe you spur is in backwards. one side of the gear is deeper than the other. but i think you got it.

I had the same problem today just gotta run it enough n work it in.. But I also bashed in 4 inches of snow though haha
