Hey Guys. Glad I found this forum. Lots of good information here. I recently sold my original .15 T-Maxx, and I thought about getting out of the hobby, then I discovered the new Savage 25, and I just couldn't resist! I ordered a bunch of stuff last night, so I should be up and running in a week or two. I think I got a really great deal from www.ultimatehobbies.com $409, free shipping and no tax. Then I ordered the rest of my stuff from TowerHobbies, like a motor saver air filter, fuel filter, etc.

What kind of performance difference should I see going from .15 T-Maxx to the new Savage 25? :ahh:
 
congrats man, u will see a BIG change. way more power than the old .15 and way more fun.

i just got a nused savage 25 have not had the time to run it but if it runs like it looks its gonna be bad ass
 
What?? Have the Savage, but haven't run it yet?? You ok man? I bought my Savage and left the LHS and went to a parking lot and broke it in... I couldn't just look at the thing... Take a sick day from work... hehehehe
 
Congrats on your Savage purchase. I think you will be very pleased.

As far as performance, the Savage 25 is great. Mine hangs well with a Sirio .18 Maxx, which means an old .15 would be no contest.
 
Nothing could be more frustrating. My new Savage 25 arrived today, and I wasn't home, so the UPS guy left a post it note instead, stating that he would try again tomorrow! Don't people work for a living during the day? I called and I'm going to have it delivered to my work address. It just drives me crazy that the guy was at my door just hours ago with my package and all I have to show for it is a post it note stating that a signature is required upon delivery!!! :angry:

Oh well, hopefully tomorrow!
