Well I just could'nt wait any longer. I ordered my Savage ss! Can't freakin wait.:D:D:D:D:D

Congrats on the new rig. You picked a very fun and durable truck.

Thanks guys. I did a little more research on this one. Looks like what I should have got in the first place instead of the Revo. I have lots of fun with my MT2s and they can take a beating. Just wanted something bigger.

She just arrived at the door. I can't hardly wait to dig in but I'm trying to drag this out for the winter. I'm wondering how hard it is to change the tvps once shes built?

Any opinioons on the extended LCG tvps versus the regular beefed up ones?

LCG ext TVP's are meant for racing or high speed passes

Great choice. Take her out and get 'er dirty. Don't be like some folks I know.

Check out the LCG and the extended LCG plates from Fast Lane Machine. Buy them from any of their dealers....EXCEPT Addicted2RC.

Extended LCG chassis are better balanced. They jump and turn better. You do loose a little ground clearance in the middle of the truck, but not much.

Not to bad to change TVP's. Just changed mine in about 45 mins. One side at a time. Although I went with the carbon fiber.

Rolex, just how many shelf queens do you have? I've been looking through the forum and have seen a couple of really nice looking rigs minus the dirt of course. The fastlane tvps are the ones I'm looking at.

Scrogg, when you say turn better does that mean I'll get a tighter radius/

rolex is adding new shelfs weekly

i loved my savage it can take a beatting

Not necessarily, but you can turn at higher speeds with less rollover.

Well I just hit a snag in the build. I've got a bent control arm in my kit. I think I'll probably order the ext lcg tvps at the same time so that I can go ahead and build it with them. Will I need anything else? Or can I just use the tvps?

What brand are you going to use?
Different brands and different extension lengths require different center dogbones. Most tell you what you need if it is not included already.
FLM sells a complete setup. I personally do not like it, they extended the rear too much and did nothing to the front end.
Innovative RC makes the best on the market IMO.
1 " in the rear, 6 mm up front. It puts the wheelbase about the same as the LST.
Added link. He ships fast too. 10 days from the UK to my door. Warranty is no problem either. A simple pic. in an e-mail is all Rob requires.

In the bottom right of the page is a currency convertor. Warning, the prices are kinda high but well worth it. You'll never wear it out.
