Should I Get Rid Of My T Maxx And Get A Savage? T Maxx Has A Ofna Max 21 On It But It Sucks No Matter What I Do Or No Matter What The Lhs Does To It. My Dad Gets Upset When I Bring It Up Because He Bought It For Me For X-mas 2yrs Ago (with My Money, He Seems To Forget This Part). Any Advice?

If you have the money the savage is much more durable than the T-Maxx. You would like it much better than your T-Maxx I think.

why not keep the t-maxx and save for a savage. that way your pops dont get upset and you will have both trucks. thats what i would do. you can never have to many rc's.

IF your LHS can't fix it then they suck. MY LHS has been adamant at making sure things work prior to leaving. They have an awesome mechanic. I have taken a few stumpers to him and everytime he fixes it but tells me what was wrong with it and shows me. Love that. The Tmaxx is not a bad ride , but does have issues. The Savage can have issues too so be sure to do your homework. You don't want two rides that you can't get to work..

I Have Enough Money For Two Savages But If I Get A Savage And Keep The Maxx The Maxx Won't Get Used. My Friend Bought A Savage And He Has No Idea Hat To Do When It Comes To Tuning It. Anyway, I Broke It In For Him, Tuned It And Seven Gallons Later He Has Never Had To Adjust It Or Take It To The Lhs For Repair. It Still Has Tons Of Power, Even Enough To Beat My New Ofna Max 21 On My T Maxx. Life Sucks.

i wuld get the savage. if u have enough for 2 savages get the SH .28 too.

yeah i would get the savage, especially if you've had that much trouble with your maxx... get a new lhs also by the sounds of it

I second that!! If your hobby shop is that bad, find another!!! I drive 45 minutes or so to get a couple gallons of fuel. Not kidding. Got a hobby store 5 minutes away. $35 a gallon here, $22 there. Guess I use more in gas driving down there than I save on fuel for my RC cars. But the guys at this hobby store act like they are doing you a favor when they sell you something. Seems like if you are spending a lot of money, they are ready to help. Anything else, you are screwed.

Get the Savage. Keep the T-max. Might find someone to help you with it. Besides that, Dad bought it for ya. Don't insult him by getting rid of it.
Don't expect the Savage to be perfect. It isn't. Anything you get, you will have to work on. Good luck.

i dont like the side rails of the savage
i also dont like how cramped all the stuff is inside
thats why i choose a .21 truggy maxx

After you work on the Savage a few times it becomes second nature and it is easy to do everything. I also think that the Savage handles better then the Maxx.

It is a pain to work on the first time or two. After getting used to it...
I cussed mine the first time I had to work on it. Haven't had it apart but 3 or 4 times in a year. I don't mind working on it now. Although I don't have to much.

that says it all digger... i personaly think its easy to work on but thats me. the savage is a really good truck. the only other MT i would own would be a revo but it would take alot of convincing for me to drop the coin on any traxxas product.

savage handles a lot better and after about 3 times its like a 6th sense. lol
and its defently more durable than a maxx when me and my friend would ride in the pits down by my beach house first couple miniutes snap an a-arm he was fixing while i was riding. next day snap somthing else, and on and on and on.

I Know Its Easy To Work On The Savage, I Know My Friend's Like The Back Of My Hand. That Kid Beats On It Like Theres No Tommorw And After 3 Years The Only Thing That Happened Was He Srtipped Out His Front And Rear Diffs Just Recently. Perfect Enough For Me.
