RC Driving Style
I just got my new savage 25 RTR. So far I've put all the bateries in and put the black cover that shelds the reciever box and the batteries. It came with some extra parts that I'm not sure what to do with, first there is a black thing with a gold ribbon coming of it, then there are a couple things that look like they may be replacement parts for the servos, and what looks like a taller mount for the body shell. Do i need to do anything with these parts?

Those are spare parts and a body post for the time that you might buy an SUV style body. Just put them somewhere in your field kit as the spares might come in handy some day.

As for the black thing with the gold ribbon, that is your frequency flag. It is supposed to be hung from your transmitter antenna (but I have not seen many people use them in quite a long time), and it would let others know what freq you are using. That, too, can find a home in your field box...just in case.
 
No problem, and I answered this thread prior to noting the dupe...so the other one got deleted. :D
