Looks like I'm gunna go for the savage. Any tips on xtra parts out of the shoot to get or anything else I should know.

Build it or RTR whats the general feel here guys. Not my first RC but first in awhile. Have an old Vanning from way back, actualy taking it in to see if local hobby can get it running.

ANy help is appreciated

Thanks

If you've already got a 3 channel radio then I'd tell you to get the ss and buy a 3 shoe clutch and appropriate flywheel, rtr tank and do the 4 spider mod while you're building it. I'd also ditch the stock brakes for the hpi dual disk and go ahead and add hd output cups on the tranny and diffs. I'm not impressed with the hd bones as I've already broken more of them than I did the stock black ones.

The RTR or the SS are easily a vast improvement on your previous vehicle. Personally i would go for the RTR cus it leaves the other toy intact for sale or whatever, plus it gives you the oppertunity to run straight away and find out for yourself why the Savage is such a beast. The SS kit is very good but after having the RTR for a while it will become an SS so the choice is down to cost alone really. Good luck and have more fun than the rest of us, you will not be dissapointed.

Stavman welcome aboard. Ur in my neck of the woods dude. I live in Ridgefield, WA. Newayz get the RTR, I see it as too many drawbacks to the SS. Let me know if you need any help with the RTR though. Late
