brand new airbrush first time using it lol, never done it before...it didnt end up anything like i wanted...but the camo fits the savage....first thing i said after i peeled off the film was "well, the savage is a beast" lol

Looks nice! Just got one myself for Christmas and should finish this week too! It's great!

Dbnjbz....Lol....I'm to the same point in my build also

Did you notice some things didnt go together perfect?

Luckily, things went together pretty well! Although, turnbuckles...definitely a pain in the ass! You done with it now?

i fired it up twice yesterday. its freezing cold outside unfortunately. was rollin around my driveway a little for about 10 minuts each and i could still put my hand on the cooling head. so i guess those two runs do crap for break in lol

another problem i had now that i remember, is that stupid electronics box. First, i busted the wires on one of my servos trying to push it into its spot, and second getting that cover on is a PAIN IN THE ASS!. i actually think that box is the hardest part :p

Running the engine in the cold can only damage it. Especially a new engine. It must get warm to expand. If not, there's a ton of stress on the internals.

see, me being stubborn refuses to acknowledge that fact. hopefully we get a heat wave soon so it warms up some.

Pretty easy to assemble......shocks gave me some grief because the rubber seal on the cap keeped rolling or snagging on the shock body there was some burs left from the mold other than that waiting for warm weather will be the hardest part..... but will have to disassemble alittle of mine when i get some servos havent picked up any radio gear or servos for it yet

Any one notice after they put the tires on that the toe out/in and camber is a little outta whack?

Tires in the back have a negative camber and in front the tires are toed out....got mine all fixed now though just sucks when you build for 8 hours and stuffs not right even though you follow the direction step for step and i even used a caliper for measuring so i know every thing was dead on...but oh well guess the direction are just for rule of thumb every thing can't be perfect when your putting together plastic which doesn't always come out of a mold the same 100% of the time

oh yeah and i noticed some spare parts in the kit 4 of them look like a solid upper arm and a bushing looks to be brass but I'm guessing this is for a after market spur gear that my not come with a bushing attached...the rest of the parts are kinda no brainers
