Just bought a savage flux hp and was wanting to know if i should upgrade anything right off the batt or should I be ok right out of the box? thanks , Steve
 
I don't own one but i have heard that they do pretty good right out of the box.....but in RC world its always smart to keep A arms, shocks and spur gears.....thats the most common parts i keep in my box.
 
drivetrain wise there actually is nothing to upgrade, it has all of HPIs strongest shafts, axles, diffs etc. I'm not sure if they make a better gear that is at the top of the trans but that gear actually did wear out on mine from the power
