Hey guys

Just got my new Savage 25. Got a few questions and it be appreciated if I can get some answers.
1) What is the proper engine break-in procedure?
2) Took out my spur gear on the first tank full with it just idling. I presume gear clearance. I got it all assemblied but don't you think a bad PDS LOL
3) I replaced the spur gear and it says to tighten the nut and back off 1/2 turn. But still seems tight. Went back out 1-1/2 turns when there is slippage. But the nut seems it's on his last threads.
4) Why does my engine don't have a pull start? It's got the roto-start. Don't they have both?
5) What is the ideal fuel to run? %%%
6) Anything I should be running through the engine after it runs and you put it away?
7) Any info on get reverse into it?

The slipper is supposed to be tight(all the way down then back off 1/2 turn) not so you can turn it with your hands. and the RTR savage .25 comes with a roto-start and the SS and .21 RTR come with a pullstart, if you want a pull stat you can buy one for around 20.00 US dollars (no clue what that is canadian) at your Local hobby shop..

as for fuel if you ask 20 people you could get form as little to none or 20 different answers I pesonally use O'donnel 20% or Blue thunder 20%.. as for after run pick up some after run oil at your LHS and take out the glow-plug and put a few drops in the hole then take off your airfilter and put a couple drops in the carbthen put a towel (or paper towel) over the engine and turn it over a couple seconds then put the glow plug back in and that's about it..

well i have three ?'s one is where is the best an cheapest place to buy a savage ss or 25?another is which is better, roto start or pull start?last one is between the ss an 25 which one s better?:n00bie:

well i can't answer the cheapest place for it but i prefer the pull start becasue the roto start dies too much unless you get a good battery which is like 80 bucks and the pull start does give you blisters sometimes but my savage usually starts up pretty quick
