Got my slash today, WHOOP WHOOP. Got the slash, and a 4200 7cell for right under 300, While its charging, i just put my spektrum reciever into it. ready to go as soon as the batts done.

Nah, chip wouldnt break it, well, he did strip out the diff's and spur out in my rc18 first time driving it.

You will really like the Slash. Three months and the only damage I've managed to do besides a really scratched body is a stripped spur gear. Traxxas designed an unbreakable truck. Of course, the short arms make the normal curb-check parts break a thing of the past...

I really want to get one of these things now, seems to be a growing trend. I saw one at my local shop that was painted to match Robby Gordons new truck, wow! That made me want one more lol.

Oh the only reason that i even thought about buying this thing, was because of how tough it is. Seeing chip pick his up and chunk it across the parking lot to "break it in" and then just flip it over and go. lol wow. Next step, brushless, and lipo.

Congrats Alpine!! It was the same thing for me too. I saw it... after that, I knew I had to buy one...so I did.... well two actually. One for me, and one for my son. Christmas morning is going to be sweet!! I can't wait to see his face when he opens that thing up!! I have to get a couple of 7 cell packs on order too.

You will have to let me know how you like it. Congrats again my friend! Mine arrived yesterday at the LHS... I will pick them up tomorrow. Whoo Hoo!

I'm getting about 20 minutes of hard running out of a venom 4200 7cell hump pack. I got two of em from the LHS, and gona get one more from the big guy.
