well i just purchased my new revo from ultimate hobbies. i am so excited that I'm goin to have an all new rc. is there anything i should hop up before i run it? or is there any weak spots that i should consider further down the road?

Get the RD Racing aluminum shock ends to start. P2 rockers and FOC (forward only conversion). When you have the shocks out for the above two things, check the fluid level. Also find some shock socks and don't forget a failsafe, I'd recommend the Venom or the OFNA. And if you can find 'em a set of Response tires. HTH

jetmech... you odnt need all that stuff. the only thing you really should look into is the failsafe, and you should check the shock fluid.

I'd also get a temp gun, my 2.5 has a tendancy to run hot if its not tuned EXACTLY right.

Really, then plan on buying some spare shock ends cause they don't frickin last! Traxxas said they fixed them but didn't! He asked for weak points and I told him about the biggest one. Besides if you bash or race in a dusty area a $5 pair of shocks socks are going cause less shock maintenance cause they keep the dirt out! So go figure I recommend about $40 in extras that will keep you running and half of that is in the cost of a failsafe. Think about it. Besides if you want better performance for bashing or racing the P2 rockers at a whopping $8/set and the FOC at $12 are going to give it to you!
