What are you talking about man?!?!?! The revo is an excellent truck right out of the box!!! Sure, some people make improvements, but it is super durable and pretty fast, not to mention it handles like a porche! What made you think its bad?

how does a porch e handle?

I'm gonna try to get a revo before the summer, theres alot of good thing about the durable, fast good basher and racer.

the only thing that was wrong with it was the gs tank seal which were causing overheating issues. but i believe they fixed that problem.

well just read a few post on here but now felling better think they were haters!!!! had a hole list of poop that was going wrong.

Where's this list at? I've had a Revo since they came out and love that truck! Sure, I've broken a few things on them, but I have yet to either own or hear of a truck that doesn't break something at some time!

You'll love that thing, man! Just take your time, read the manual and break it in correctly and it'll run awesome!

mate its a fantastic truck i have had a few nightmares like frying the engine (my fault running too lean)and ruining the tires as they're not glued that great from the box but I'm still over the moon with my purchase wouldn't want any other truck got a new engine yesterday and tires tomorrow should be back bashing by sunday...it drives well and jumps well out the box you'll pick up tips once you get going follow that dvd break in to the 't' and you'll enjoy...

thats great!!!! getting mine next week waiting for the big brown truck to pull up. i got it for 438$. lhs wanted 500$....... got the charger and the battery and ship for less than that they can keep theres dont like those dudes anyways they act like there god!!

LHS dealers rerminds me of Comic (LCD) shop dealers....but I want go there lol

It's always been between the Revo and Savage since I've been out here. It's all up to what your looking to do with a nitro truck and how much money you got to spend on one. I personaly feel in love with the Revo after seeing some of the jumping videos floating around the net. If RCTC doesn't mind, heres a site http://www.beatyourtruck.com/beatings.html that has a few good videos of a revo....including one landing a double and tripple back flip! If you have any questions about trouble shooting it or modding it, ask these guys. They know this stuff like the back of their hands...hell I sware some of them sleep with their trucks ;)

Well I was worried mostly about spending that much money on what my wife calls a toy. Anyways, a month after getting the truck, I'ver never regretted shelling out the coins for my Revo once. It's a non stop adventure if you ask me. I drive around all day scanning fields and parks to go bashing in my off time lol Now there is a few things I would do to it like installing a 9" pressure line or fail safe but that stuff will insure a safe run and allow you more fuel time.

YOu must be reading too much into the other threads. The Revo is a great rig, and with minimal mods can be made full race ready. ALL r/c's wil BREAK and like any other nitro r/c's will keep you in the garage a few hours a week or month on maintenence. They are not toys, something you leave alone unitl you use it again, but they are high performance hobby items that require skill to use and maintain. That is half the fun!

THE REVO ROCKS! i dont know where you get your information. it won truck of the year in 2005, and has been winning big league races since day 1. you, sir, are mistaken. you are going to love this thing. the only bad thing about them is the addiction youll have to taking care of it. sure, I've broken some parts, but most of the upgrades i've done for this truck are just out of the goodness of my heart. it thanks me...

Ditto

My best advice is to buy extra parts when ever you can and one of those HomeDepo 9.99 plastic tool boxes. Then buy you some of those colorfull team ass hex tools they sale for around 30-40.00 bux. I took my Revo almost completely a part with just two of them.

Some people crack me up with their posts. ;)

The Revo is a great truck,a half basher half racer, one heck of a truck and a great choice. All things have negative aspects and the Revo is mostly positive ones.

Just follow the little red Traxxas DVD and read your instructions. You will be fine

And I have a dozen trucks,so I am not biased. The Revo rocks, and if you need hopups, the choice is yours.A great truck
