New old Maxx

Anybody have a source for a new "old" T-Maxx (TRX Pro .15 engine)?

A friend of mine is hoping to buy one with his year-end bonus from work, but he likes the old better than the new (narrower suspension tends to land on its wheels better when it rolls).

Not really crazy about buying somebody's used stuff on eBay. If it comes to that, a new 2.5 will probably be preferred. All those old TRX units had to go somewhere. Anybody know where?

My advice would be to contact as many hobby shops as you can and ask them if they have any left in stock.

Don't limit yourself to just your local shops, call some near and far.

I was in a shop over the thanksgiving holiday down on the Mississippi gulf coast and they had one left on the shelf. I would be happy to give you there e-mail address and phone number if you want to contact them. I know they will ship if interested.

I would Call Traxxas to see if they have any in-stock, or if they know of any LHS that has them in-stock. Let me email Towerhobbies and ask them what they did with all of their old T-maxx'es.
